Fuel flap actuator
Hi all! First post so here goes. I've got a V40 d4R 2014.
Today I noticed my fuel filler cap lock motor died. Obviously there is the green release cord inside the rear right wheel arch so I can use that to slide the lock pin in/out when I fill up (once every maybe 3 weeks). I sprayed the pin with wd40 and wiggled pin in out a lot but that didn't work and there is no noise at all from the motor. I checked the 10a fuses in slots 70/83 in the board below the glove box and fine (manual says these 2 are 'central locking/fuel filler cap') and they are OK. I removed the single torx bolt from the flap side and the soundproofing from inside wheel arch but then couldnt see how to get the lock unit out. It's behind a structural plate, and doesn't appear to be a way in from the filler cap side. Anybody got any ideas either what to check next or how to get the motor out so I can check/replace that?
