Bomster Member Last Online: Mar 12th, 2024 22:26 Join Date: May 2014 Location: East Anglia	Gravelly/Grinding noise Hi all, I've recently noticed what I can only describe as a 'gravelly' noise coming from the engine. It's happens at low revs/speeds, and mainly when a little throttle is applied. The noise seems to go away when off throttle/braking. No warning lights. No noticeable effects on driving, car is pulling fine, box is changing gears fine, no hesitating, literally the only symptom is the noise. Thought it was only doing it when cold, but noticed it was still there even when warm this morning. Hard one to diagnose. I will get the car on the ramp and inspect for anything loose, but just wondered if anyone might have any ideas? Engine mounts possibly? Car is on 116k fyi.
