Hi,
Apologies for numpty question, but I have searched the forum as I'm sure the question has been asked before, unfortunately I cannot find any threads. Have a 940 estate with the NSR lower window trim missing, been like that since I bought it as a stopgap motor, the original metal trim was loose in the boot along with a brand new side trim rubber seal from Classic Volvo Parts B3518367/8 Bit of a loose end today, and getting the car ready for MOT on 20th May, so replaced damaged front number plate, relatively easy 10 minute job after having to grind a slot in screw head to undo. Thought I would simply slide on the spare new trim clips on the little buttons that sit just below the side window. However I am stumped for how the rubber trim fits between the trim and side window glass??? It has a shallow recess where it fits the trim, and as soon as I fit together it looks OK, but as soon as I handle it to try to put up against the window, the rubber seal drops or moves..... ![]() I have some spare clips and have checked how the trim/clip go together, so once all aligned properly, a few well placed 'taps' should locate everything. V Frustrating and I dare say there is a simple solution, any suggestions gratefully received. Cheers Steve |
