340 needs a new home
I have a 340 GL which I would like to go to a new home where it will be put to good use. I can't scrap her because it doesn’t seem right. I bought the 340for my wife to drive our son around in (to the shop's or her mum's etc) Its a safe car and I know the B14 engine is reliable as my first car was a 340 which I part exchanged for a 440.
We have had her for only 2 months. But the steering is too heavy for parking. We have decided to get another make with "pas" and a bit smaller, as you know she isn't worth part exchange and would be scrapped if she was. MOT Sept 09, Tax Jan 31st 09, very clean inside all switch's work and heated front seats. Original Lw/Mw radio cassette, bodywork is blue with a couple of dents and a bit of rust on front n/s door. Seals have been worked on. The engine seems fine (B14). I had her tuned-up because the carb was loose. She needs a new centre box because it’s very rusty but only just starting to blow at the join. Manual gearbox. O/s headlight has a stone chip. I think that’s all I can tell you about the car. If you can give her a good home all you need to do is come and drive her away. I bought her from ebay for £300 and got a bargain I don't expect to get my money back, I might if I sold her in bits but I can't. Just to clarify. I'm not selling the car its Free to a good home, unless you feel you need to give me something for her. Thanks for your time Phil |
