Default vibration through pedals

Hi All, I've got a 2002 S60 D5 with 118k on the clock which I have owned for about 6 months.

I have an annoying problem with vibration/buzzing through the pedals and partialy the steering wheel. The vibration is quite high frequency and felt during acceleration and cruising at all speeds. It makes the rear view mirror vibrate on occasions too.

I've checked most posts regarding vibration and the engine mounts seem to be a common problem. On checking my top mount shows signs of cracking.

Would a worn top mount cause this sort of problem? or could it be a drive train issue?

Any thoughts and ideas would be most welcome.
