Its now done 165000, recently on accel when the turbo is winding up , it sounds like theres an air leak from under the car, at 3000 rpm a thunmping sound starts and the peformanxce tails off. I was at the lights the other night and a taxi pulled up, I noticed black somke and pointed at his car he leaned out of window and said it was from mine -doh !! Pulled over nad sure enough thick black smoke on accel. I have a feeling its coming from the turbo, the sound from under the car on accel sounds like bearing whine ? Has anybody had carbon build up blocking the return/feed lnes to the turbo ?
