V70 D5 6spd Noise at 2000rpm
2007 v70 d5 6spd manual.
I have a noise that I can only say sounds similar to wheel bearing at 2000rpm. A sort of wob wob wob noise.. but as soon as you dip the clutch and/or stick it in neutral the noise goes away. Does anyone have any ideas?? I changed the clutch about a year ago and I've changed the engine mounts recently also. Vac mounts tested ok so left those. Cambelt, wp and pulleys replaced. Aux belt, tensioner and idler replaced. The noise is making the car very unpleasant to drive as it's most obvious at 70 mph 2krpm in 6th Slightly off topic of the main issue... cabin vibration at idle has also increased hence changing engine engine mounts. Unsure if related. Any help will be much appreciated! |
