Why is my final drive different?
I'm in the process of changing the fluids and AOC/Haldex filter on my XC90 2007 D5.
On the rear I was expecting to find two fill plugs side by side, the forward one for the AOC unit and the rear one for the rear differential, as per the image in VIDA. On mine, however, I have a single bolt (13mm) on the rear of the AOC unit and a single bolt (13mm) on the rear side of the differential, rearwards of the NSR driveshaft. I assume that these are the respective fill plugs, but can anyone please tell me why mine are likely to be different, or am I being particularly stupid and missing something? Thanks in advance. |

Haldex came in different generations.
VIDA may have the wrong picture for your vehicle. VIDA may have reused an older picture. They may have made a mistake when loading data into VIDA. You have a choice of believing VIDA or believing your car
