Had a look at other cars and for what I spent on my car in 2019 you can't get anywhere near the same feeling of comfort or joy in driving. Sucks you in does the Volvo luxury. Seems more financially viable at the moment to put money into my Volvo. Maybe in six months or a year the market will calm down a lot!

Tell me about it, I was looking for a year and as the cars got dearer and in short supply I regretted being too fussy about an Insignia I was going to buy originally,
They do suck you in and I think it's more of a refinement thing, inside most look like a tidy room where a lot of other brands inside look cheap and junk filled, the S90 was a waftmobile and put me in mind of a 3500 V8 Rover my dad once had, it was also very similar to a MKII Granada in how it felt size wise,
I wouldn't bank on prices falling much, the supply chain is so broken right now and if I'm right I suspect they will have us locked down again this winter, all the pieces are there, change of Gov because the old one can't play the same tune 3 times in a row, media ramping up Covid stories alongside the packed beach ones

there's money in them old hills yet!
Anyway glad she's behaving, on the up it is a more desirable car than most so if you do sell it you should do ok on it.
