For a 10 year old motor it looks good but pics can be very missleading , the millage its just about run in if looked after a derv will easily do 400.000 , gear box oil change will cost atleast £100 just in oil and is a time consuming pain in the butt there are threads on here telling how this is done it does not appear to have been abused , value wise its what some one is willing to pay there are cheaper ones about , but i shy away from dealers

Yes I am wary of paying dealer prices, there is one similar at a local dealer for a thousand pound more, have just found out that the owner has not had the Auto box oil changed since he has had it,and that is 4 years since,he seems to not really have much clue about what's been done, which is kind of putting me off,if he's unaware of certain things maybe there is more chance of him not tending to them.is that a fair comment.

Also would.volvo main dealers never touch auto box oil, like was.suggested earlier in this thread.

That looks tidy but the price is a little high , and having worked in the trade there are so many little tricks that can make a motor look fantastic but dont last personaly the first one would be my choice

Just bought a V70 T5 2004 a few weeks ago. Lots of little problems, like having to remove the front bumper to change headlamp bulbs and transmission problem being the latest, so check out V70 common faults, miles and age related before proceeding.
Diesels may be less problematic than the petrol though, I only have a few weeks experience of my Volvo so don't let me put you off

I was under the impression, that if a car was used for towing, the auto fluid should be changed every 35000 miles, so with full service history, it should have been changed.
