dont forget new bolts as all the suspension bolts are stretch "use once only" bolts
The 4 subframe bolts , the wishbone bolts , lower ball joint clamping bolts , horizontal lower strut bolts , I've seen a lower ball joint clamping bolt break after being used twice , the ball joint then detaches causing the wheel to flail about , not recommended ... Stretch bolts act like plastic after being used once , they will tighten and tighten and stretch with insuficient clamping force . They wont do up and get tighter and tighter as will normal nuts and bolts . use the angle torque too , those 4 subframe bolts need a LOT of energy to tighten correctly .

Thanks, already know about the bolts as only recently changed front wishbones and it cost me around £15 for 6 nuts and bolts from volvo.....bit steep though for bolts i have to say.
Wasn't planning on changing the bushes really just want to get the car back on the road really so can take my daughter to school when her ankle has healed. How much are a set of bushes and whats difference from Standard/Poly/Delrin???

I wanted to fit a T5 engine but when I first mentioned it on here I was told too much money and hassle changing everything.......would love to drop in a turbo engine as my car would then deserve the colour.
Think ill stick with the standard bushes though thanks.

What parts etc would be needed to install the turbo engine as would love to do it but obviously if its going to be a pig of a job and cost a fortune it isn't worth it.
Is there a guide anywhere on how to change the engine and what is needed.

All you will need is the Engine/wiring loom"only for the engine"radiator/Exhaust/Ecu

If id know that I would have done it last year when there was a scrapped T5 in local scrappy that was just brought in for no insurance etc that had everything and full leather interior. Maybe an option for the future. Think I'll need to get some help though when I decide to do it.
Car would so deserve the yellow colour.

Well got subframe on the way thank god from a guy in Wigan who's got an ebay shop.....seems to have alot of parts. CLASSICVOLVOPARTS.
