Default Time taken to deliver new car

Was wandering what other xc60 buyers are currently experiencing for delivery of a new car. We placed an order for xc60 D5 SE Lux Premium with a range of options in early August and are being advised a delivery date of the 2nd Dec to the dealer......is this reality? Just seems a long wait!

About 4 months seems about right TBH. We ordered our R Design Premium back around the middle of May and Took Delivery on September 17th. We also specced a few options which also bumps up lead times I'm told.

Be patient though. Ours was certainly worth the wait!

I'm being patient....can't wait. keep seeing more and more XC60's on the road. Will hopefully be a great Christmas present! having read all on these forums, I believe we have made the right choice. Roll on December!

Seems a rather long time, I ordered my XC60 D3 SE Lux Premium at the end of June and changed the order to a AWD version at the end of July and the car was delivered to me on the 19th September.

That included the 4 week shutdown period in August, maybe they then have to catch up!!!

I ordered on 20th Aug, was told the last day for changes to spec was 31st Aug. Was advised a build date of week 40 (this week) and a delivery of 2nd week November. Apparently it takes 3 weeks to build and 3 weeks to ship to the U.K. Hopefully that will be the case.....

Car:
d5 rdesign manual
cosmic white
premium pack, xenons, keyless, lam windows, sunroof, premium sound, subs, TV, child pack, winter pack, BLIS, 20" wheels, window tints, etc, etc....
