Default Aux HU-803 Wanted.

Hi All,

My 8 year old S60 has done me proud over the years and long it may continue.

Fitted is a HU-803 and I am looking to add an Aux port cheaply - is this possible? People talk a lot about what I would deem to be expensive solutions but all I want to do is be able to plug in a mp3 player. Not worried about iPod etc, just want to play music. I have a volvo sat nav system (that is very intermitant not being able to read the disc and so not used any more) so I don't know the nav unit has any useful ports I could use.

I am handy with a soldering iron and am not worried about modifiying things as long as it is proven. I have had a look around the forums but could not find an answer my question.

Many thanks, Jed.

I would think the easiest way would be a grom unit.
The sat nav cable is melbus, it has not direct audio input.

There's always the cheap way,if you've got a cassette player you can buy an adaptor that goes into the cassette slot with a jack lead for your mp3 player

Click on Search, advanced search, type "mp3" into keyword box, select "S80 '98-'06 / S60, V70 & XC70 '00-'07 models". Click search.
8th and 11th threads are worth a read. Easy
