Wow. That looks some job! Fair play to you! Can't wait to see the finishbed pics. I personally prefer the dark interior on most cars

Update: today i took the dash out of the red 850r so i could start to swap the knee bolster panels as i am keeping my light wood.

i have(with the aid of a dremel) painstakingly removed all the glue holding these panels on to both dashboards. i took some photos of the pesky glue, i'll add them to my gallery soon.

my back is killin as i've been on the floor for the last 4 hours removing glue!

Cant see why a whole dash removal is neccesary just to change the lower panels...madness ....i guess volvo didnt anticipate me wanting to mix and match the dashboards during an interior change!

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but I do believe you have the first dark interior with the light wood trim!

Nice work!

About three solid days so far! seperating the panels from the dash so i can keep my wood has took the longest i think. I hope it is unique and i am the only one!

i have to refit the dash in the red 850r and then im all finished.

As for how hard...patience is the key. not a good idea if you dont like removing thick yellow glue for millions of hours . All the wiring is straight forward.

I actually refitted the dash in the dark on my own with a torch! i was keen to get it in!

If any body wants it doing i am available for a small fee
