Default late 960 front on a 940

Just a simple question, is it as easy as it looks to make a 940 look like a 960/V90 inside and out?
I am planning a 2.3 16v Turbo road/track car and it would be quite nice to make it look the biz inside and out

You can't swap the doors over because the rubbing strips don't line up with the rear wheel arch ones. I've just put a V90 interior in a 945 and it's an easy swap apart from the passsenger side electric seats, the driver's side was pre-wired
. I'm not sure if the door cards would swap over but you can put the entire frontwings lights and bumper on. I prefer the 740 front bumper so I might see if that goes on as the chrome strip of a 760 fits fine! The rear V90 tailgate swaps over easily also. I think the dash may be trickier though!

Outside is easy. You'll nee to alter the 960/V90/S90 wings a little in the area of the A-pillars, as they have a little different shape there. The bonnet can stay, as that is the same at the tips (the 960 II bonnet is the same as the 960 I which has the same front end as a 940). Brackets and mounts would have to be used from the 960. You'd have the non hidden wiper arms, but only a perfectionist will be able to tell the difference. Dashboard might be very awkward, as the firewall has a different shap. Seats and co are fine. If you want the doors, they'll fit too, but you'll need to add the bumper/rubbing covers on the sides - including wing at the front and if you have an estate, then again between the rear wheel arch and the taillights (late 940ies had them aswell). If you have an estate, you'll need the hatch with spoiler lip (top) and wide handle (painted).
