If it is the round bushing and it needs replacing, you can get a new bushing and replace it without removing the bracket. There are threads on this.
Alternatively, one can replace the bracket and bushing with the new squarish design, which reportedly lasts longer than the round one. It may no longer be the case, but formerly when the bushing in the square bracket would need replacing, one had to replace it with a new bracket/bushing assembly, even though it would appear that a new square bushing could be forced in. Apparently one cannot get the square bushing by itself.
