V70 d5 buying advice
Hi just joined this forum to get a bit of advice.
HAve been thinking about buying a v70 d5 for a while now. So i went and viewed one today. it was an 03 with 93k on with a good service history. the car drove and looked well. There was only one fault i could find. when indicating the indication lights on the dash did not work but the exterior indicator did. can anyone give me any advice if this would be a serious fault. Also is there any thing else to check when buying these cars Thanks in advance Gordy |

DIM (instrument cluster) failure - you may be able to get it sorted by BBA Reman otherwise it will be a replacement from Volvo for > £500 |

V70 d5
Thanks for the reply.
yea just done some searching on the forum here about the DIM faults and sounds like its the fault alright. i had noticed on the car that the trim around the steering wheel was not fitted correctly so someone has already been at it. Think i will stay clear of this one unless its at the right price. |
