Default maf location 1997 s70 non turbo

Hi all

as title really, I think my father in law is having maf trouble but i've never worked on this engine before and cannot find the traditional looking maf sensor housing anywhere near the airbox. it has a molded section at the top of the box with a two pin sensor in it, but does not look like a maf sensor.

any help appreciated.

Which engine 10V or 20 Valve?

i'll have to check but there is no 20valve writing on the rocker so presuming it's 10?

This engine doesnt have one ,It has a FENIX managment system ... it measures load from a manifiold vacuum pressure sensor mounted on top the radiator area they are very reliable , but the vacumm hose may be faulty???
