Unhappy 480 Instruments

Complete speedo function has failed on the 480GT, speed, oddometer, trip, two days later rev counter also decides to pack in, all other instruments and electrics including computer are perfect.
Car has just gone back on the road after spending last six months in warm garage, and has been started and had short trips 'round the block' (on SORN !), anyone any ideas, fuses all checked and ok, any relays etc worth checking ??

Very commonly loose connections to the back of the dials. Remove the dash surround. (screws behind the foglight switch(slides off), below headlamp switch, below hazard warning switch, behind fan control(prises out), behind alarm LED (prises out), two (or three!?) screws pointing upwards along top of dash) Lift off surround (easier with steering wheel in lowest position)(disconnect clock, fan switch, Hazard switch, info centre control and LED light (all easy). 2 screws on right of instrument panel to undo, then gently lift it out. You might get away with just giving the connections behind a shoogle or firm press on, but you may have to give the connections a bit of a clean up.

Hopefully that'll sort it.

I guess if that doesn't work then you should track the wires to the ECU box to make sure they're all good.
