Genuine/not genuine

Im trying to lay my hands on a tailgate spoiler for my 96 850T5....Ive got Genuine 'Volvo' quotes, and Non geniune, with prices varying dramatically to say the least......from dipping my hand into my wallet , to re-mortgaging the house !....Would i be taking a big risk purchasing a non genuine spoiler...Your valued advice appreciated people...

The main thing to look for in any estate spoiler would be the correct mounting holes. iirc my non-genuine ASD spoiler has two bolt holes each side for the metal mounting brackets.
You are best off purchasing the genuine mounting brackets (about £30?) as the sticky pads alone don't always 'set' properly.

I'm looking for a rear spoiler for a 95 854 T5. What model and year (ie is it an 850 Turbo model spoiler or R type)? Does it come complete with all the hardware etc. and how much do you want for it? I don't care about the colour.

I have a number of non Volvo roof spoilers for these cars to clear at £95 each to include VAT and delivery within the UK.

They screw to the car and require painting.

They are made by Lester in Italy: good quality and fit and look the same as the genuine article.
