dose the XC90 have the dreaded ETM ?

Back at the end of the Phase 1 / Start of the Phase 2 S/V/C70's (99->2000 ish) the Electronic Throttle had some issues - a few "duff" throttles were made, much fuss was kicked up, etc etc.

RXS - You will be hard pressed to find a modern car with a cable throttle these days. They will ALL have an ETM of some sort. Fortunately, the quality of them is a lot higher nowadays. The thing the XC90's seem to die of is either Transmission Failure, or AWD Failure.
