Default V70 P1 Performace?

What sort of bhp figures can I expect from a V70 p1 diesel once chipped/remapped?

Which is better, chip, remap or one of those box thingies?

Thanks in advance.

Well depending on how much money you have to throw at it, the engine itself is capable of power in excess of 250bhp...

I have used Tuning boxes only on Volvos but my current other car a Skoda VRS is chipped. You can tune to extreme where in the case of the Skoda it struggles to get the power down fully and it loses some traction on hard exceleration. You can tune as much as you like but I feel it is a compromise on traction and overall delivery, which is why I'm on my second Original Tuning Box and very happy. After tuning the next option could be looking at handing and better springs etc, then where do you stop.
