Well, I'm still no closer to finding out or fixing any of the faults so far, as I was unaware I'd need VCT2000, I thought any OBD cable would do, as long as the VADIS software is present. Current plans are to take the car to the dealership and get them to initiate the adaptation process.
Still trying to find a cause for the ABS and STC lights, any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

John - As per the instructions for the gearbox change, new driveshaft bolts were fitted and torqued as per instructions.
Yesterday finally saw the Volvo used for the first time on the road since the gearbox change. What immediately became obvious for the first time was the initial "vibration" was in fact partial drive in first gear. Feels like a slipping clutch with the whole car shaking violently up to around 25mph. However, when the gearbox is in "Winter Mode" the car feels so much better. This is now my immediate concern. Has anybody had any experience with this problem before? Thanks! |
