Engine: V8: Can't get my oil filter off

Does anybody know what size oil filter wrench or what type of wrench I can use that will take off the plastic canister that holds the oil filter cartridge on my 2006 XC90 V8? I have made 6 trips to the nearest auto parts store and still cant find anything that will take it off. And the local Volvo dealer was no help at all other than to say bring it in, we can do it for you.

You could ring FRF Volvo and ask them to send you one. (Look in members discounts for the phone no. Quote C3 for the discount)

Or you could keep searching ebay for one. (They are sold out in the UK at the moment)
