Coilovers from other volvo models that fit c70?

I remember a few years ago someone saying I could fit coilovers from.... an 850?

Can't really remember which model but basically I was told you could fit them, any idea what model?

My car now is a 2002 - old one was a 98 (when I originally asked)

Yeah basically any V70/850/S70 coilover that were designed for th non leveling suspension will fit. Which ones are you looking at?

Yeah, they'll do the job.

Let me know how you get on with those, my shocks and springs are getting a bit tired.

Just because something fits doesn't mean it's correct. In some cases Volvo specified different springs and dampers for the C70 compared to the S/V/70 and 850, depending on the specification of the car and whether it was a coupe or convertible.

there a various different suspension set ups for all the shells, if he wants coilovers, and they fit - then they're right for him
