Hello
Would my 2009 V70 be able to manage with a 240kg Safe in the back? I need to move it for a friend, do i need to adjust anything?
thanks

Car should manage without a problem but floor might not take the weight

As teefin says, the car should manage it, in terms of suspension/overall strength etc., but you need to be careful with the load area deck. Personally I'd be happy to do it if it was mine, but, I'd get a piece of quality plywood that's about the same size as the load area and put that in first and place the safe as far forward as possible, with the rear seats still up to prevent it taking your head off in case you have a full frontal collision. The plywood should spread the load better so you don't have concentrated pressure points and placing the load forward should put it in the best place for the car's structure to cope.

No worries, you shift key isn't working either. It's just the keyboard.

Just be careful with your back when you load it in there. I'd put such a heavy item on a trailer instead, just because it's easier to load it with a forklift or similar.
