440 Alarming Problem
1996 440 1.8 SE.
After zapping with the key fob all the doors lock OK and the alarm sets, but then less than a minute later the alarm is activated for no apparent reason. All doors and the boot seem to correctly close. Any ideas please Thank you, plk |

Is there a boot light, and if so is that turning off ? is the alarm factory fit or after market

It sorted its self out by the following morning after just locking the doors with the key. I believe its an orignal system. I didnt realise the system was actuvated by voltage drop, maybe the boot light, glove compartment light was playing up.
