Clutch issues
I have a s80 2.4 was driving last night when clutch went all way to floor and didn't come back up I looked underneath to find a small Pool of fluid (hydraulic fluid I'm assuming) I have had many quotes on replacing the clutch all £500+ assuming its just the slave cylinder can this be replaced on its own? Or is it a full clutch job? Any help greatly appreciated thanks

if your replacing the slave cylinder you may as well do clutch as well mate, not sure if your car is the same amount of work as my v70 but it is alot of work to get to the slave cylinder and you clutch plate could go in a few months and then you would have to pay the labour again if it does where as if your gettin the slave cylinder done it takes 10 mins extra to change the clutch.

Cheers for that I have had a few quotes from garages lookin at approximately 650 fitted! Does anyone know where I'd get the whole lot at a reasonable price or is this the standard going rate? I've looked online a few places n the parts are approx 250 all in anyone aware of a site where it's cheaper?
