Off to Monaco

Am off to Monaco and the south of France for a few weeks in my S60.

I will be back briefly at the end of July for just under a week but am back for good middle of August.

Am leaving tomorrow @ 6.30pm after working all day. Car is packed up, sat nav is set and I'm raring to go!

Have a good trip mate! I did the trip last month in my S60, what a journey! I recommend the alps on your return as well! Spectacular views!

Hey, there's a Volvo dealer right in Monaco as well... think next door to Massaratti! Or certainly not far away! You should check it out!

I've just come back from Monaco!! Excellent!!.

Avoid the coast roads, they are full of tourists and it takes ages to get any where. A8 toll motor way is the way to get about.

If you are looking for somewhere to eat try Stars N Bars in Monaco near the Monaco Yacht Club in the Harbour. I had a dinner there sat next to Mikka Hakkinen!! Foods good and reasonable.

i would drive the coast road for a few miles though.. the roads and the views are spectacular can see the different colours in the sea, some parts are blue, other bits look green, driving next to topless beaches is very difficult mind... when ur trying to concentrate on having a peep! LOL

we took the coast roads quite a way... from frejus to nice to monaco to monte carlo, cannes.. but i agree the A8 takes a fraction of the time!
