I know of nothing around, but if you need any parts then let me know; I'm around Ludlow.

Thanks, guys. We're near Montgomery, Ed, so not far at all.
Yes, there seem to be quite a lot for sale on EBay and there's also Auto Trader but they seem to be higher mileage trade sales and nothing locally on either. Gumtree seems quite good but they seem to remain listed forever so many are already sold. Just that I thought one owned by a forum member might stand a chance of being better than average - wishful thinking ?! |

Also try asking the main dealers where they put the cars that come in as part ex, but are too old for the approved scheme... some of them will tell you, some won't.... sometimes it's as simple as they go through Brightwells or similar. (just had a look, they've not got anything this week... car auctions are every Thursday)

Hi Iain,
I apparently have insufficient postings to reply to your message direct but hope you see this anyway. Many thanks for the info on your car - looks absolutely gorgeous but unfortunately we just need a relaxing load-lugging towcar so not really what I'm looking for ! Also I'm sure more money than we'd want to spend. Thanks again and good luck with the sale, I'm sure you must be reluctant to part with it. Kind regards, Anthony |

I've just joined the forum to try to sell my parents V70. It's a 2000 SE 2.4 auto - last of the Classic shape. It's been Mums pride and joy from new and only has 56000 miles. I've just posted it on Gumtree today (http://tinyurl.com/bfpbtlt) Have a look - it may be of interest.
