Default 2006 MY S60 Indicator stalk wanted

For a 2006 MY S60 D5. A complete stalk is what I'm after. My switch will click onto main beam and the blue light comes on, lights are on main beam fine, but when released it will not hold its position and the lights return to dipped beam.

Many thanks
Steve

Probably a really silly question but are you sure your main switch is in the 'night time' position and you aren't actually driving around with the daytime running lights on?
The only reason I ask is that you never need to touch the light switch but if it is in the 'nine oclock' position, then your main beam won't stay on...
Best wishes, Neil

Well I'll be.... not a silly question at all as it turns out.
You're right, thats exactly what the problem is, many many thanks. I remember it used to work perfectly BUT, it was recently in RT Mechanics for some work and I suspect they've switched the lights off, I haven't noticed because as you say, the daytime lights were on. One less job to do!
Thanks Again

Regards
Steve
