V40: - Failed the MOT:( - Page 2

I have used the same garage for years and they know me in there so all my friends and familys cars go in there via me. Anything that needs doing is noted and if it's something simple (bulb / wiper blade, screen wash etc.) it is still passed as he knows it will get done.

I wouldn't use them again!

Don't worry I won't! Just told the service manager that in not so many words and asked for my test fee back, which he has reluctantly agreed to. I should have taken it to the second garage in the first place, have used them before but they were booked up.

He must have been really nervous that you were going to report him to VOSA...sounds like it was a real try on.

Didn't even threaten him with VOSA.....just some bad reviews on the net.

This is quite a large garage with a Ford warranty franchise.

If you google MOT and my location you'll see the one!!!

Not that I am close enough to you to be thinking of going there, but certainly one to avoid!

By the way, well done on the (eventual) MOT pass!

yes i only take my cars to the garage my mate who is an mot tester works at, that way i know the car will get a good and honest check.
