Russ, not sure what you mean. As far as I know he only posts on the turbobricks forum. This is a link to his profile on there: http://forums.turbobricks.com/member.php?u=11240

Fit the Cloyes alloy timing gear set obtainable from Rock Auto at around £100 including shipping and customs. Not noisy like the steel but more resilient than fibre.
Fit a windage tray to the sump. Google it, it's a simple flat plate that extends around the oil pump pick up and reduces losses both oil pressure and Hp.

Russ,
Can I understand better about the Cloys alloy timing gear set. What are the benefits? How long would alloy last versus steel?
Am I right in thinking the windage tray is to keep good lubrication when cornering in the same direction for long periods? Is this of benefit for a fast road car?

I have had a cloyes ally gear set in my car since around 2007/8 and approx 30000 miles. No issues, quiet and relatively cheap when you consider the fibre ones cost around £130 and the steel about £180
The steel are annoying and the new fibre ones have had suspect units.
Seaying that when i fitted he first cloyes set they failed.. Apparently there was a dodgy batch but they are now clear of the system.
I could tske the set of the B18 to use on the B20 but i intend to keep the B18 running as long as possible.
The windage tray prevents oil drag on the crank, apparently costs 2-3 hp which is a cheap performance gain.
Its nothing fancy but a plate over the sump which fits around the oil pick up. Its not a tight fit as you need to allow drainage so a few holes help
