850 fuel pump
does the fuel pump seal give it a tight fit in the fuel tank hole or can u move the pump around. reason i ask is ive been getting fumes into the car and noticed the fuel pump collar was loose to the extent i could move the pump around a little.
ive made it tight but got me thinking because i could move it around when slack so easy is there a rubber seal on the pump or is it missing. |

nvm sorted it now i hope, seems they do move the seal has a lip on it and who ever fitted a pump before didn't fit the seal correctly.

resealing the fuel pump seal did not work still getting bad fumes in the car, but i would say its certainly coming from the rear of the car maybe the tank breather pipe or something.

ive checked all pipes i can see cant see any leaks, 1 pipe i found that seems to run with the 2 fuel pipes, runs with the fuel pipe down the car to the front of the engine, then across the front and i loose it where it looks like it enters the body work.
