I can understand your doubts for removing the stickers. It is really difficult. The sticker is not in a "flat" position but goes "around" the strut tower. That makes it difficult to make an exact photo. And finally it is not sure if I can lay the removed sticker on a flat surface (for scanning or so).
After a sleepless night (just kidding), I think it's better to let the sticker there. The painter must have experience in protecting rare stickers. He restores dozens of Ferraris and Porsches . So that should be not the first sticker for him, wich is unique... Thank you all!
