That's one thing I hate about admiral, they auto renew and take payment from last card used, or if paying monthly just carry on.

the renewal figure I had with them last time was £1350+ for 2 cars without breakdown, guess that's how all companies work now, they just hope you don't shop around first!

Did they not try beat them? with me they matched my partners car and got a lower price than I found any ware else then chucked in free breakdown cover, i'll admit I do not like the auto hike on renewal, but every company seems to do that now. Did take 45 minutes on the phone mind....

All search engines make way more assumptions in my experience in regards to the driver and vehicle, in addition no insurance policy should be solely compared on price alone.

quite true as you will see that they leave out legal aid / car hire etc. and that's an extra. .
They all seem to do this so they get the lowest quote and come first on the go compare sites but when your an 18yr old and just passed. .
A car that's worth £400 and you get stung for £2000 its no surprise really is it tho

Some even have specific levels of cover for these search sites, going direct does still pay the extra time in saving a few pounds at a better level of cover.

Oh and for anyone that thinks they save money stupidly going TPFT these days Fully Comp can be cheaper irony.
