Just came to mind, SW Autos sells an ECU that imitates the MAF signal by using a MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor on the intake manifold.
I was having a nose around his stores and saw it, neat bit of kit - has a seperate air intake temp sensor to locate in an appropriate area. This would allow all us mad induction fans to use any intake we like or even a cone directly onto the turbo, hehe. The other benefit of this ECU is for custom mapping - the 5v signal from the original maf can be extended to give reading for the complete rev range allowing for a more accurate map to be custom written. I'll try and look it up on the web, but at the moment, I can't remember a manufacturer. Chris
