960's do have rear springs.. it's whether you can find a lowering kit, and cheap, that'll fit the 960.

Paint it high-gloss black.

Add chrome wheels in the biggest size you can afford.

Tint the windows limo tint black.

Add an enormous stereo which has the power to remove babes clothes at 20 paces.

There's a real danger this thing could end up being a Barryboys abomination - be careful! Surely it's worth £750+, and it's a CD spec model, which makes it more desirable. I dunno, it just sounds like way to nice a car to spray matt black?!

Later 960s (with the mk2 IRS) have a single transverse fibreglass leaf spring. There's a lowering kit available from Volvo, but it's about £600. Aftermarket kits are available for the front only, IIRC.

# Change the rims for something more meaty. You can directly fit wheels off an 850/60/70 series car to a later 960, as they have the same offset. Factory wheels are usually cheaper than aftermarket ones.

# Paint the grille black.

# Look at a headlight swap. Something like BMW E36 ones might be a similar shape/size.

# Get a boot spoiler. Salvo in Ilkeston have a couple in.

# Paint the side skirts body coloured.

If all else fails, turbocharge it, then stick a sodding massive intercooler out in front, ricer FMIC style...
