2010 xc60 awd r design mpg ?

update - did return trip to Manchester on Saturday (340 mile round trip) and I may have driven reasonably quickly and returned 32mpg.

Thats not too bad - it's about my figure for long motorway type trips at an average of about 80 mph.
Once the engine gets towards 1,000 miles you will find it will get better.

I'm averaging 36.5mpg over 13k miles in a 2012 D3 AWD.
Mixed driving- with a bit of towing, no peak traffic though.

Highest was 40.2mpg, lowest 30.2mpg. I calculate the mpg & p/mile each time I fill up......yes, I do need to get out more.....

I have a 2012 D3 AWD XC60, the trip computer has not been reset since I got it and it indicates 38.2 MPG , I can easily 42MPG on individual trips along the motorway keeping to a legal 70 max but most often 60 MPH. Take your time and save money, by leaving a few minuets early you can relax and enjoy the trip. Yes, you guessed it, I'm over 60
