Glad you are pleased with your RICA. I have no experience of the Miltek. However if it sounds anything like my old Longlife system, you will be grinning from ear to ear every time you pull away.

if you dont mind mate how much was the rica?
i would really like one done but i think its extortionate for the short time it takes them. i understand that its a ~60bhp upgrade but it only takes two ticks and a laptop. standard is fast so this must be amazing! |

I paid £640 all in fitted for the rica and exhaust. At the moment they have an offer on that if two cars go together you pay £500 for both for either the280/304 upgrades. This doesn't include the exhaust though, but still a good saving. I agree it's a lot of money for maybe not much time, but the results are worth it.

I'm sorry, but i can't quite see the connection between the time it takes to do something like this and the price charged. You're not paying for their physical labour, as you would with paying for, say, having a clutch changed - you're paying for the research and development that went into it, plus the fact that what people are willing to pay is what will (or should) determine price, not just the input costs. Your logic would suggest that you shouldn't have to pay more than 50p for a computer software programme as that's all the CD would cost!
