Default 15" Steel Rims

I am considering fitting 15" steel rims to an S40 2.0D and fitting winter tyres.
Has anyone any feedback/comments to this proposal?

If you have 320mm brakes might not fit.

16" should fit any brakes you could conceivably have on there.

The 2.0d had most commonly 300 mm brakes. But even then they won't.

278 mm up front: 15"
300 mm up front: 16"
320 mm up front: 17"

I'd say, it is probably 300 mm.

320 will fit under 16" I've seen posts about it so you can go 16 or 17 and it almost certainly be fine.
