Default Replacement headlamps

I need to put European lamps on my 2003 C70
I could simply look for a non UK set but wanted to improve the illumination. I have found some LED ones in Taiwan but are they legal. Any ideas, anyone know where to get some new lamps?

I have a set of these i was going to put in the for sale section, the drivers side has a chip in it but doesn't effect the function the light and i believe they can be adjusted to LHD by flicking a lever on the back of the light but i'm sure Mike will be along shortly to clarify £120 plus delivery

To put these to LHD you need to remove the glass and black inside as mine are black then you have a lever that you move from left to right this puts them in LHD mode and just reverse the bar for rhd roads

If he doesn't take them I will!

Do you have a picture of the chip?

Are the projectors much better than the standard headlight? What difference do they make?

The projectors with standard bulbs are far far better than the standard Volvo OEM headlights, fit HIDs to them (assuming you keep the beam length adjustment by swapping the motors from your old headlights in to the projectors and wash/ wipe of the headlight) they are fantastic with no light scatter.
Replacement glass fronts for the projector lens headlight units are also available from PFV should one get stone damaged - Mike

Having previously lived in France, I know how obsessive the authorities can be about conformité.

I think you may have problems the next time you submit your car for its CT if the lamps do not have the correct EU type approval symbols.

Is there a French Volvo forum ?, if so , you may be better off asking the question on there.
