Thaaanks a lot Gatos, I will check my loom to find it and connect my fan.

I will try to upload a short video of the car running. Still haven´t given it a good go, but I´m looking forward for it.

Cheers

Well well.... It´s been a long time and there have been a few updates.

Engine runs OK, braking is OK, but the suspension set up is still not spot on.

The biggest problem I´m having is the battle between the high torque and the little grip on the car. It´s very hard to accelerate hard out of any turn and I´m looking into changing the std. diff to an LSD unit.

Any advice is welcome as this car only weights about 330kg on the rear axle where all the power is transferred to the ground on 13" wheels.

Any other tricks to increase grip?

Cheers,

Gonzo

That's nearly 12 months since your last post, minibugga!

The only thing I can think of, off the top of my head is wider tyres to increase the grip.

An LSD would be a good idea, or be gentler on the accelerator, when exiting a bend. :-p

Big tyres needed

Perhaps look at what those Z cars use? I am sure those 'busa engines put out more power.

I´m already running nice tyres (ACB10) and would not like to go any wider.

In order to change the diff I have to choose between quaife and gripper.
Has anyone tried any of them?

Cheers
