OK and thanks very much indeed.

This is where I stand...

I am going to see if I can find the Lidl ones today. They get great reviews and come with a 3 year warranty. They're also only £27 !!

If not, I'll get back to you about yours. Pics are a little small to see the quality/damage. I know yours are Thule (my preferred brand) but is there a model number for reference please? I could find better images on the web then.

I'll get back to you when I know more.

Hi again DonkeyKong,

Mixed emotions here now.

I found a set of the Lidl roofbars and have bought them.

I simply couldn't justify £55 for second hand non-pristine ones when £27 has bought me a brand new set with a 3 year warranty and excellent reviews.

Thanks for your patients though and I'll ask someone else I know looking for bars if they're interested in yours.

I'm sure he's likely to ask why I'm not buying them so are you sure this is your very best price?
