Hi, how do u re-set the clock on a 1992 940, after having the battery disconnected for some time? Thanks Stew.

Stew,

From what I recall about my former Wentworth dash area there is a small knurled knob close below the clock. Push this in towards the clock and turn the knob clockwise or anti-clockwise to adjust the time setting. The knob will just spin if it is not pushed home.

Dont know if Im right here but some models were fitted with two little buttons (or one) on the dash to move the clock forward by pressing them in and the hands moved electrically. Cheers Nigel

My 92 Wentworth has the above mentioned buttons in a module the size of a switch along with the instruyment illumination dimmer to the right of the steering column but my earlier 90 model 740TD had the manual rotary knob in the instrument panel so it probably depends on model year.
