Default 08 v70 2.0D SE: No power from 12v sockets, fuses OK.

Hi, the 12v sockets in the main body of my 2008 V70 doesn't work. This is both the one in the central armrest and the one on the rear of the arm rest. The fuse in the main box in the boot is OK and the items I'm plugging in work. Is there another inline fuse somewhere?

Fixed!

For others with the same issue who find this post using the search facility, the fuse for the 12v sockets in the central arm rests is not in the main box in the boot, or in the box under the glove box, it's in the box under the bonnet!

You might have trouble discovering this if your manual is like mine as it says the fuse in under the glove box!

This actually is outlined in the manual (at least in mine MY2013) which says that the two 12V sockets inside the cabin only work with the ignition on, and the 12V socket in the boot is always active...
