Service Issues: - Resetting service reminder

two weeks ago I had an annual servcie but the dealer forgot to reset the wanring message; to avoid a two-hour round trip I'd liek to reset it myself - can anyone explain how please???

it all depends on model year but try holding down the reset but turn on the ignition continue to hold the button wait for the warning to flash release the button if dosnt work then i not to sure but a part of your service you paid for is to read all codes in all systems connected to the same equipment that swithes off your service light!
