FS: 1997 Volvo V70R Saffron Thousands Spent Going Cheap £500
Summary:
- Very original - 'that' colour, no mods, no towbar. - 212k, but feeling a lot fresher - >£6.5k spent in the past few years, mostly under the bonnet - MOT until October 16th, may need some light suspension work for it - Avon ZZ3 all-round within the past year, cost more than I'm asking for the car - Cheap at £500! Due to increased mileage I've got a new (to me) V70 TDi inbound, and the 'R' needs to find a new home. I will add photos etc, but if I don't get something up now I never will. I've owned it for a little over two years - I purchased it from a gentleman in the home counties who used it as a dog wagon, having an AMG E63 and Range Rover for everyday duties. I'll dig out the paperwork but it's had something like 7 owners overall, and I have a 3" thick folder of paperwork. Overall the car is original - saffron metallic, automatic, black leather / alcantara, comets all round (fitted with Avon ZZ3 all-round within the past year, refurbished but with a few kerbing marks on the fronts), no towbar, no mods. It's got some small dents / dings and some scuffs to the bumper corners. The interior scrubs up nicely but also has some use-related marks if you look closely. The previous two owners spent about £6.5k at RT Mechanics attending to all sorts of bits, mostly under the bonnet. The car was serviced by Phil Whitaker cars last year and after a test drive they commented it felt very sorted. However, at the last MOT nearly a year ago it had advisories on suspension bushings all-round, and on the state of the windscreen (original to the car). The latter hasn't changed, but there's a risk it may need a light suspension refresh for this MOT. Given the above, how does £500 sound (plus tax at cost if needed - it's got just under 12 months)? The car is located in Hammersmith, West London and collection should be possible any time. |

Now sold - thank you for the interest. I can't work out how to edit the original post.
