Thanks Guys,

Ok so now I'm aware of exactly what it is I'm looking for....

My ignition barrel is dash mount not column mount

Special thanks to CVS and 1800NECWINNNER - when it comes to amazon information, you two make a great team...

(sorry boys - couldn't resist)

So it's the middle one I'm after

An offset steering column without the steering lock

Back to the original question now......

Has anyone got one ?

Cheers

Andy

The 140 series were introduced in 1967 - they came from beginning with steering column (and integrated ign.) lock as a theft protection feature.

This was in 1969 also fitted to the 120 series as standard and Volvo made an accessory kit (#281453) complete with all parts needed to convert the earlier 120 models.

Yes - but I'm sure cheapest way around is to see if someone more local can help out - else, feel free to email me.

You are going to need both the upper half and lower half. You can't mix and match different era uppers and lowers.

I might have some around but again shipping across the pond is going to be spendy...

Drop me a note if you want to dig out what I can offer you.

Thanks
Chris

now I wonder who that would be ?

I do have one but Im not sure I want to sell it, I have it ear marked for another project.
if you want to change the column and box I could do a deal with your old box and column as long as the box is usable to MOT standard.
please let me know either way.

It's RHD btw
