So far, fuel pump fuse, relay and pump, air mass meter, ignition amplifier module, plugs, leads and fuel regulator as well as injectors, spray patterns and fuel pressure have all been checked / changed. specialist 3rd garage! thinks it is ecu. Can you tell me what year and engine is fitted to your 240??
Sounds like you have the famous dodgy 561 ecu which intermitently fails to ground the fuel pump relay. But i didnt think we got 240's with that engine management system from the age period when that 561 ecu is from. Dependant on what size engine yours is fitted with, i have a updated ecu that will work Last edited by Chesh740R; Oct 14th, 2013 at 18:05. |
